We embrace the Bible as central in our congregation and homes.

The Word of God is the focus of our worship services, the textbook for our teaching ministries, and the foundation of our daily lives. Whether we are preaching, teaching, singing, or just talking, we want to be people of the Word.

We treasure God's Gospel.

We want the Good News of God's saving grace to us in Jesus Christ to be the centerpiece of our mission. Through the Gospel, the Holy Spirit calls us, draws us together, and motivates us for service. All people need to hear the Gospel. God's children need to hear it again and again.

We revere God's Law.

The Law of God cannot save us, but it is necessary for our salvation. Through the Law, the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin and drives us to the cross of Christ for forgiveness each day. We need to be reminded that we cannot earn God's love or merit His blessings. However, after coming to Christ we need the ethical guidance which God's Law gives. We dare not make up our own morality.

The Word teaches us, Baptism washes us, and the Lord's Supper nourishes us. Through these means the Holy Spirit brings us to Jesus Christ, who alone is the source of our salvation.

We esteem the Word and the Sacraments as God's precious means of grace.

We aspire to whole-heartedly respond to God in worship.

In corporate worship, we are God's guests as He speaks to us through His Word, and we in turn offer ourselves in thanks and praise to Him. In personal worship we live out our whole lives in expression of our grateful praise for Who God is and what He does.

We are stirred by the love of Christ to share His Gospel, and also to extend our concern to people's physical and emotional wellness. Our mission is as local as our neighborhood and as universal as the whole world.

We long for people to trust in Jesus Christ as Savior.

Whether in public worship, small groups, or in personal lives, we desire prayer to be at the forefront. Prayer supports and propels us in our mission. We believe that prayer is as essential in our ministries as breathing is to our physical life.

We seek to be people of prayer.

We nurture deeper intimacy with God, and growth in Christ - following character through scriptural teaching, mentoring and encouragement in spiritual disciplines.

We passionately desire the spiritual formation of believers.

We need each other. We need the spiritual gifts, which the Holy Spirit imparts to His people. We experience God's peace and joy as we worship and serve together, forgive one another, and bear one another's burdens.

We cherish God's family, authentically loving and serving one another in community.
